Frequently Asked Questions

How often do I use my products?
Follow directions on the product for optimum benefits. Most products should be used daily, excluding masks which are 1-3 times/ week.

How long does each product last?
Depending on the size you purchase and how much you use, products should last up to a 3 month supply based on recommended use.

How do I store and handle products?
Composition breakdown is natural and happens with or without preservatives. Because we use a natural means of preserving, we ask that you keep products out of direct sunlight and free from extreme temperatures. It is not necessary, but you are welcome to refrigerate. Use clean hands and spatulas when handling your products to avoid contamination. Always replace the lid tightly on jars.

What about shelf life? How do I determine the expiration of a particular product?
Skincare products do not, and should not, last forever, they should be used; but storing natural products in a cool, dark place away from heat and sunlight will help extend their shelf life. All our products are preserved naturally and are free of any chemicals.  They do not need to be refrigerated, but they need to be kept from extreme heat. If stored properly our products have up to a 12 month shelf life or longer depending on the product.

My skin is very sensitive prone to allergic reactions; will your products cause a reaction?
Anya Natural skin care products contain essentials oils, nut and seed oils, and herbal extracts. Everyone should do a patch test before using.  If you are prone to have any allergies or reactions please do an allergy patch test before using any products or consult your physician. You may also refer to our Safety Precautions page on our website.

Are your products safe for children and pregnant women to use?
We produce only natural, safe and effective personal care products. Because we leave out all of the harsh chemicals we believe we offer a safe product. However, we recommend that you check with your physician before using any new skin care product when you are pregnant. Children and babies are very susceptible to chemicals and toxins. Healthy and safe skin care is extremely important starting at a young age. Children and infants have sensitive skin, so we recommend consulting your pediatrician or aromatherapist before using any new product.

Do your products contain artificial colors?
No, they do not. Our products are made from plant based ingredients and are synthetic and chemical free. You may notice some variation of color in our crèmes and lotions, depending on the oils and butters that we use. You may refer to the ingredient glossary on our website to view a complete list of what we use in each of our products.

Where do get your ingredients to make your products?
In maintaining our philosophies of sustainable business practice, we have conducted an extensive search for dedicated organic and natural growers and suppliers, local farmers, and distillers to provide us with the utmost quality and freshness.  Each company that we obtain our ingredients from meets or exceeds the highest standards in the industry. We feel it is important to be able to pass that on to our customers through each product that we make. We have also developed our own preservative system that is safe and healthy, and will not compromise the quality of our products.

Why are ingredients so important?
Have your read your label lately? So many consumers are unaware of the toxic ingredients that are in the products they use. With our skin being the body’s largest organ, it will absorb what we are putting on it including pollutants’, chemicals, and preservatives. This is important because what you apply to your skin invariably winds up in your bloodstream. We offer products that get results without the dangerous ingredients. This is so important to us that we have dedicated a whole section on our website so that you may read each ingredient that we use and its description.

Do your products contain chemicals?
No we do not use any toxic ingredients or synthetic preservatives. We do not add artificial fragrances, colors, fillers or stabilizers. Our products are made without harsh detergents, propyl alcohol, formaldehydes and synthetic additives or petroleums. We never add mineral oil or use genetically modified ingredients.

Are your products certified organic?
We use ingredients that are certified organic from our suppliers. All of our products contain ingredients that are either certified organic, natural, wildcrafted or plant derived. Our mission is to always provide our customers with a safe and effective product, whether deemed organic or natural.

Do your products contain animal derived ingredients?
Aside from beeswax and honey that we use in a few of our products, all of our products are made with plant-based ingredients.

I am a Vegan. What products can I use?
Many of our products are Vegan. You may review the ingredients listed on each product index card. If you have any questions or concerns on a particular product you may also contact us. If you would like to make a special request for a product you may do so by going to the Special Orders link in the Shop Anya section of the website.

Do you test on animals?
No, we do not test our products or ingredients on animals of any kind. Not even our pets!

How do you preserve your products?
We use our own organic plant-based, preservative system that is chemical and synthetic free. We also use a complex blend of oils that are high in antimicrobials. Our natural preservative system offers enhanced quality and freshness, and offers a longer shelf life.
 
Where can I find out more about your products?
Our website is the best source of information about Anya Natural, our products, our commitment to the environment, and our philosophies. Each product page has a description and a list of ingredients. You can also read our ingredient glossary for an in-depth description of each of the ingredients we use.

Where are Anya Naturals products made?
All our products are made in our New River, Arizona location, just north of Phoenix. We make all of our own products in small batches to ensure the highest quality and freshness.

Do you offer any of your products in larger sizes?
The sizes that you see on the website are what we are offering at this time. If you would like to make a special request you can do so by emailing us or go to the Special Orders link in the Shop Anya section of the website.

Are your products safe for pets?
Our products are made from natural ingredients that are safe for both humans and pets. However, we do not test our products on animals. At this time we do not have specially designed for your pet. Also, our products are not meant for consumption. If you have any concerns about using a product for your pet, or if they ingested a product please contact your veterinarian.

Purchasing & Shipping Information

Do you have a printed catalog?
We do not offer a printed catalog. Saving paper is part of our Green Initiative and part of our commitment of sustainable business practices. Our website has complete product and ingredient information, informational articles and resources, promotions, environmental links, and our newsletter.

Can I place an order over the phone?
Yes, you are welcome to call direct, but shopping on our site is safe and secure. You may call us at 623-587-9025 between the hours of 10:00am -5:00pm, MST. (*Note- Most of Arizona does not observe Daylight Savings Time)

What methods of payment do you accept? Is your site secure?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and, debit.  You may also mail a check, your order will be filled when check is received.

When you order is placed, your card will be charged and you will receive an email confirming your order. Our website is protected with the latest protection and privacy devices that are updated continually. Your transactions and information are safe and secure. We do not share your information and our shopping cart system does not store your credit card numbers. For further information, please read our Privacy Policy.

What are your shipping costs?
Our shipping costs are for standard shipping. We use USPS Priority Mail for some deliveries. We cannot supply an exact shipping table prior to check out. As you complete your order, your exact shipping charges will be calculated based on your order and zip code. 

Do you have any shipping restrictions?
We ship to only one address per order.  We ship anywhere in the US, including Alaska and Hawaii.  Please call for international shipping rates, as they vary per carrier.  Note: most standard orders are delivered within 5-7 business days, except in periods of high volume.  Po Boxes, APO/FPO and US territories are usually delivered within 6-14 business days.

What are your shipping methods?
We normally ship USPS Monday thru Friday. Most orders are processed and shipped within 3 business days. During periods of high volume, there may be a longer shipping period.  If you do not receive your order in 10-14 days please email or call us.  There may be slight delays during the holidays.
